This is our Niece Mya. She was born on Friday November 7th at around 6:30 pm at 2lbs 3oz. The picture above will give you an idea of how small she really is and how delicate and precious of a gift from God she is. Please pray for her as she is fighting for her life. Her heart stopped on Monday Night and then as she was being intibated she had a seizure. All you power house prayer warriors, and all of you who pray once in a while, we are counting on your prayers. Thanks to all who already have. We will try to keep you posted as to her progress. The doctors have said that she has Sepsis which is an infection of the blood that can possible cause Pneumonia or Meningitis. We are praying obviously against those and that the doctors will be given insight and wisdom to for see potential problems before they happen and counter them before they are a problem. Please pray for Sarah and Tom and Alex, and the rest of us as the emotional roller coaster we are on is a very cruel ride. Please feel free to post your prayers here so that Sarah and Tom are able to be comforted by them.

As Mya's Oma & Opa, we thank God for the precious little gift that she is to all of us. We believe that God has a special plan for Mya and that someday, she will be able to share God's love with those around her about how God delivered her and sustained her as such a tiny infant. She is dearly loved by our entire family, even those who have not had the privilege of meeting her in person! We are holding fast to our faith and are so thankful for everyone's prayers! We may be far away in body but in every other way we are right there with you all. Our thoughts, prayers, and love are full of Mya, Tom, Sarah, Alex and the rest of the Friesen/Bell families. We, and our church family, have been praying that 'God who gave Mya life will continue to give her life'. We are also praying for for Mya's parents, Sarah & Tom, that you would receive comfort and strength from family & friends and peace in believing that Mya is in God's hands. We pray that God would give wisdom to her caregivers, and rebuke any disease or complications in Jesus name. John, Leonora,& David.

There are so many people out here in Winnipeg and other areas of Manitoba who are praying for Mya to continue gaining strength. She is amazing us all with how tough she is as she continues her fight for life! We pray that Mya and her family will feel the love and support that surrounds them.
