God is so good and we give him all the Glory and honor for the strength and amazing progress that Mya is making. It is not the doctors, it is all God. Thinking about the fact that a lot of newborns can't lift and control their head movements for the first days and weeks after birth, and that at 7 weeks now premature, she is able to do that despite what every nurse and doctor said. The nurses were so amazed by this feat that Sarah witnessed one nurse call another over in amazement as she was lifting her head, looking around and turning it to the other side!! This can only be God. She is up to 3pounds 5 oz, a full pound above her birth weight. She had another IV line taken off of her tonight as she is up to 12 cc of milk every 2 hours and processing it like a pro.

When ever I wonder about how messed up things are in the world today with Government, the news, the economy, my measly daily problems, I look at Mya and it all disappears. We can't tell you how much we are looking forward to holding her and having her out of the hospital. It would be the best Christmas that we could remember having in a long time! Please join with us in this prayer! Once she is out we will be starting plans to have 2 open houses to show her off, and I hope that everyone will be able to come out to meet her, we will have plenty of hand sanitizer to go around. One in White Rock, and one in Abbotsford. No matter if you know Sarah and Tom, or if you have been praying because you know us or our family, they want to meet all of you and thank you for your faithfulness in prayer.
