Our Family! The Teenage years!

You may ask, "Attitude Years", isn't that kind of rude? For those of you with Teenagers, you understand. With Teenagers, it is full of excitment, emotion, weird changes in personalty and body(scary) and watching them grow in the Lord. We as parents need help because if it was up to us we would fail. Thanks to God that he is with us and trainging us to make as few mistakes as possible. Please pray for us!

Sarah said I could post her email today, so I thought I'd let you all get the updates straight from her. I was encouraged by her positive outlook.

Hey, Here is a picture from today.....Mya had her ventilator taken out this afternoon. She was put on the CPAP (which is the two little prongs that sit just inside her nose and give her a small amount of O2 when needed). During the transition of taking the tube out from the vent and having the CPAP put on was the first time that we have been able to see her without any tubes and stuff on her face. She was quite irritated with them taking off the tape off her face and pulling out the tubes but settled back down pretty quickly afterwards. She is still having some problems with processing the feedings that they have been giving her - we are really hoping that her body will start having the digestive reaction she should be having - she might just need a few more days. In so many ways she is defying what the doctors have told us to expect and we pray that she continues to do exactly that. She is incredibly tough. Please keep praying for her to keep up her strength and continue to make progress, we want her home with us so badly............ Love Tom & Sarah

She looks so content in this picture. Nice to hear/see she has gained a little weight :-)
We are also hoping that she will be home with you for Christmas.
